Following
are some common signs of addictive relationships and codependency:
Being
unable to leave a relationship because it is familiar, even though
you know it is depriving and hurtful.
Feeling deserving of love but usually finding people who can't love.
Feeling the relationship
is your "fault" and feeling afraid to express critical,
angry feelings. As a result, one is not able to trust his or her authentic
self to emerge in a relationship.
Please note: We do not provide a 24 hour hotline.
If there is a life threatening situation call your local emergency
number or go to a hospital near you.
